I worked on the launch campaign for Spotify’s innovative new user centered mixes. For each category, we created a unique visual representation of sonic waves. These wave shapes carry throughout the creative to embody a wide diversity of musical styles. We worked within Spotify’s extended 30 color palette, selecting a unique pair, often reflective of the colors in the album cover being used. This campaign bolstered awareness for the brand new feature within the Spotify app. By incorporating the actual playlist cover art in our designs, we introduced users to the mixes while also creating a visual familiarity.
